"Using false information "
Anonymous user (6 months ago)
I received an "Important Notice" in the mail what appeared to be a notice of "unsecured debt" and if I didn't call and negotiate that I would have some sort of loss. When I spoke to the agent at AEG, it said it was a marketing tactic to get people to call so they could provide credit counseling and offer their services. When i asked for their company information such as address and phone number, he hung up on me. When I called the number back the 2nd time, they could not reconnect me because I had been taken off "the list". Very unprofessional process at gaining business.
